The thrift store medallion

John was at the mall, he had walked the same path for months, but that fateful day, the small thrift store in the corner caught his eye.

It was silently calling him in. He went in, and looked around. There was a jade medallion that had an inscription about magic. He read it outloud.

Suddenly, the medallion started glowing and transformed him into a female version of himself. He felt awkwardly comfortable as a woman, but he still wanted to be turned back. But the store owner called him young lady, and asked her to leave since it was closing time.

John took a cab back home. He felt confused, but hopefully his family could help him. 

But inside, instead of being greeted by his parents, a man, and two young women were waiting for her. 

The youngest called her mommy, the eldest looked just like her even wearing matching shirt. And the man, her husband called her Mome. John then remembered that’s how everyone called her since she was young. John’s name is now Monica. 

Monica felt like throwing up, as all those new memories were forming up in her mind.

As she washed her face, her husband came to help. “Mome… are you feeling ok?” He asked. “I think so” she answered.

She looked at her wardrobe. She had lots of dresses and sexy lingerie. She tried a green dress, a teal dress, a brown dress, and then went back to the green dress. She liked how it highlighted her assets.

Paul, her husband told her she looked “lovely” she kissed him back. But unbeknownst to her, the magic of the medallion still lingered inside of her.

As they kissed, her husband started changing too. In mere seconds Paul was no longer her husband. She was Pauline, Monica’s sister.

And Pauline had no memory of her previous life. She was there to help her single sister with her children.
